Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited use of DigVel's website and Services. It applies to all visitors and clients and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website or Services to:

  • Engage in or facilitate any illegal activity;
  • Submit software or targets for analysis that you do not own or do not have documented authorization to have assessed, including production systems belonging to a third party;
  • Submit software or payloads intended for use in a real-world attack, or request that DigVel's findings be used to attack systems you are not authorized to test;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to DigVel's systems, disrupt or overload DigVel's infrastructure, or interfere with other clients' engagements;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract DigVel's proprietary methodologies or tooling;
  • Misrepresent your identity or authority to engage DigVel on behalf of an organization.

3. Responsibilities When Submitting Software

When you submit software, files, or system access for analysis, you represent that you have the legal right to do so and that the submission does not violate any third party's rights or any applicable law. You are responsible for removing or flagging any data within a submission that is not necessary for the analysis (e.g. unrelated personal data of end users) before providing it to DigVel.

4. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of the Services, removal of content, and, where warranted, referral to law enforcement. DigVel reserves the right to decline or halt any engagement it reasonably believes violates this AUP.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, report it to [email protected].

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
